Hey friends, Hallie here!
This December, I am so thankful for the partnership of Mary Frances Flowers, the jewelry designer who creates the beautiful pieces you see above!
Who Is MFF?
Mary Frances and I worked together on Work Crew at Young Life's Windy Gap camp when we were in high school. We spent a month as "Tawashies", her doing LITERALLY hundreds of loads of laundry and me cleaning anything and everything that could get dirty at camp. (The fact that hundreds of high school students head to YL camps each summer to willingly do these things FOR FREE attests to the awesomeness of YoungLife, but anyway...)
Fast forward six years and the girls who once cleaned camp are now business owners--me with Dot and Mary Fran with Mary Frances Flowers. I have been so impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of MFF jewelry, and as if it could get cooler, Mary Fran designs it all herself from her studio in Asheville!
"I wish I could get more involved, but I don't need school supplies."
I've heard this a lot since starting Dot, so when Mary Fran and I started talking, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity for all you worker-bees who want to help our students get an education!
In the month of December, MFF is donating 20% of the profits from the three pieces seen above to fund education for Tumaini, a seven-year-old who goes to school with our Tanzanian partner, Glorious! Mary Frances' jewelry is the perfect Christmas present for any lady in your life, and you can be proud to know that your beautiful #armcandy helped Tumaini (below in blue) attend school this spring!
More To Come
This won't be the last you'll hear of MFF on the Dot Blog. #girlbosses gotta stick together, so we're dreaming up more ways you can connect with MFFxDot (and others?!) this spring! Stay tuned for more info!
