Introducing the Dot Intern!

A few weeks ago, I sent out a call to all you Jackson college students. "We're a brand-new start-up that cares about education and poverty, and we're looking for an intern. Are you up for the challenge?"

And you were! I'm so excited to introduce you to the newest member of the Dot Family! (Which makes it immediately double in size.) Here she is, the first-ever Dot Intern, Morgan Barber!

Morgan and Hallie, Mississippi College LT Formal, 2012

Morgan is a Communication major at Mississippi College just outside of Jackson, MS. She loves Jesus, people, and adventure. Morgan and I first met when Morgan transferred to MC in 2011. A semester later, she rushed my social tribe (Baptist version of a sorority) and we became "sisters".  Now, two years later, I'm so excited to have her join the Dot Family!

I have no doubt that Morgan will create big shoes for future interns to fill. She's driven and passionate, and she comes to every meeting with a smile on her face. We've got her working on developing Dot's wholesale accounts (coming to local retailers soon) and some fun special projects coming soon!

We can't wait to see how Morgan adds to the Dot brand and the Dot family, and I can't wait for her to see the impact she is making on students around the world.
